Anime Vanguards Tier List by Role

This Anime Vanguards tier list groups units by role so a player can compare meta carries, boss killers, support pieces, and early-game bridge units without treating every account as identical.

How to read the Anime Vanguards tier list

S+ means a unit can shape the account plan around itself. S means the unit is usually worth heavy investment, while A and B units are more dependent on your current roster, materials, and stage target. This structure is more useful than a flat list because Anime Vanguards players make different decisions: one player needs a boss answer, another needs an economy slot, and a new account needs stable early clears.

When a lower tier unit can still be right

A lower tier unit can be the correct upgrade if it fixes a missing role. For example, a support or economy unit may improve a run more than another damage unit when your team already has enough burst. The table therefore includes a role and decision note, not only a letter grade.
